Beef Sirloin with Pepper and Cinnamon

Ingredients
  • 4 (8 ounce) beef sirloin steaks, 1-inch thick
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon, ground
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons butter
  • ¹/?? teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¹/?? teaspoon black pepper
  • ²/? cup regular whipping cream
  • 4 tablespoons shallots, finely chopped
Directions
  1. Preheat grill to 350° F (medium setting).
  2. Allow steaks to stand at room temperature at least 15 minutes before cooking.
  3. Sprinkle both sides of steaks with salt, pepper, and cinnamon.
  4. Grill steaks for 5 minutes on each side, or until internal temperature reaches 145° F.
  5. Remove steaks from grill; drizzle with 2 tablespoons of melted butter and wrap in aluminum foil.
  6. Let steaks rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  7. For sauce: Mix butter, cinnamon, pepper, cream, and shallots in small saucepan. Bring to a simmer, stirring well. Serve with steaks as a sauce.
