Beef Sirloin with Pepper and Cinnamon

Ingredients
- 4 (8 ounce) beef sirloin steaks, 1-inch thick
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon, ground
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2 teaspoons butter
- ¹/?? teaspoon cinnamon
- ¹/?? teaspoon black pepper
- ²/? cup regular whipping cream
- 4 tablespoons shallots, finely chopped
Directions
- Preheat grill to 350° F (medium setting).
- Allow steaks to stand at room temperature at least 15 minutes before cooking.
- Sprinkle both sides of steaks with salt, pepper, and cinnamon.
- Grill steaks for 5 minutes on each side, or until internal temperature reaches 145° F.
- Remove steaks from grill; drizzle with 2 tablespoons of melted butter and wrap in aluminum foil.
- Let steaks rest for 5 minutes before serving.
- For sauce: Mix butter, cinnamon, pepper, cream, and shallots in small saucepan. Bring to a simmer, stirring well. Serve with steaks as a sauce.
