Smoked Apple Ribs

by Fan Submission
Ingredients
  • 2 full racks of ribs
  • 2 bags of brown sugar
  • 1 handful of nature seasoning
  • 1 handful of Montreal seasoning
  • 1 small bottle of apple juice
Directions
  1. Start by rinsing your racks of ribs under cold water and removing any unwanted bone chips or bits and remove thin membrane.
  2. Mix both seasonings together with brown sugar. Pack mixture on top of ribs so that the entire top is covered. Wrap ribs in aluminum foil and place in fridge overnight.
  3. Start smoker up. When the temperature has reached 220 degrees, add your apple wood chips and ribs. Remember to place the ribs seasoned side up. Every 30 minutes, spray apple juice on the ribs.
  4. After 4-5 hours, remove the ribs from the smoker and wrap them in foil. Return the ribs to the smoker for another 3 hours.
  5. After 3 hours, open foil packs but do not discard. Add your favorite BBQ sauce and recover with foil. Place the ribs back in the smoker for an additional hour.
  6. The ribs are ready to serve!
