Stuffed Dove

Ingredients
- 3 whole doves, cleaned
- 1 package thick cut bacon
- 1 1/2 ounce cream cheese, softened
- 3 ounces mozzarella cheese
- 2 fresh jalapeno peppers, cut in half and seeded
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- Toothpicks
Directions
- Mix all dry spices together.
- Stuff each dove with 1 ounce mozzarella, 1/2 ounce cream cheese and jalapeno. Sprinkle each stuffed dove with spice mixture. Wrap each dove with slices of bacon (use the toothpicks to hold the bacon in place).
- Set your smoker to 225 degrees and smoke with pecan or peach wood chips. After 1 1/2 hours, check doves for doneness.
