Deep Fried Shark Bites

Ingredients
  • 2 pounds shark fillets
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 gallon peanut oil
Directions
  1. Fill ButterballĀ® Electric Fryer to MIN line with peanut oil.
  2. Preheat to 350 degrees.
  3. Cut fillets into 1-inch chunks.
  4. Combine flour, salt and baking powder.
  5. Slowly add 1 cup water and vinegar. Mix well.
  6. Dip fish chunks into batter and place slowly into hot oil.
  7. Cook 3 to 4 minutes or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Makes about 6 servings.
